It has come to my attention that Hulu has now expanded it’s incomplete library of TV Shows with another incomplete library. . .but of Movies this time. Don’t get me wrong. . .Hulu is a fine service, but learn from Google.
Do one thing right, then move onto the next project.
Hulu.com has come a long way since it’s launch but even websites like Surf the Channel have more of a complete collection of episodes.
Why do they think they could collect movies any better.
Though I will give them some credit. . .they have a fair amount of movies to watch right now(even though most are only clips). The selection is great. . .The Usual Suspect, Office Space, Dirty Work, Super Troopers
As you can tell I am showing off the embed feature. They have this with TV Shows too. . .but there’s just something about putting an entire movie into your blog/website.
Of course they have commercials, but you only see around 5 or 6 throughout the entire movie(and they are only 15 second commercials each break).
Quality is so-so. I’m thinking they should add a ‘higher quality’ feature for a better viewing experience.
One benefit to the somewhat low quality of the video is that movies are instantly scan-able. . .and at any spot too.
In the end I applaud any reasonable attempt to distribute content online. Whether that content is podcasts or premium media.

So this is my blog. This will be the place I go to write up random thoughts about random things. Most of it will deal with the internet or technology. . .since I am a geek. Just don't expect anything too exciting. . .
My problem with Hulu is that it doesn’t work in Canada.
