. . .and just where are the Digg submitters? On a typical Friday night you will find the top 3(zaibatsu, MrBabyMan, and msaleem) recording a podcast of their own. The best part is they do it in their web 2.0 type of way.
Every Friday night at 12am(midnight) EST recording live on Ustream. There is an IRC chat right on screen allowing anyone to participate in the show.
I am seeing this more and more with podcasts. . .Leo Laporte has been doing it lately with TWIT. . .as well as the cnet team with Buzz Out Loud.
Not only are these 3 there. . .there is a handful of very active Digg submitters. . .dotlizard, blackolive, bamafun, gbarberi, BuzzDiggity, oboy, SilentJay, ToeCracker, fastfastlane, optimusprime01, suxmonkey. . .the list goes on and on(sorry for anyone I didn’t mention).
The show starts off with around 30 viewers, and grows to around 50-70. . .depending on the week. The show is also featured on the front page of Ustream.tv each week.
The podcast is much like any other podcast though. Pulling news articles and discussing them. . .though they stay focused on Technology and Internet news(usually).
It lasts for about 40 minutes and then they go into a ‘freestyle mode’. They will bring in 2-5 listeners/diggers into the conversation(via skype). . .and the geek talk continues. This is the full web 2.0 style I was talking about earlier.
I feel this. . .in a way. . .is the next generation of podcasts. Who will be the first to coin the ‘podcast 2.0′ term? I feel you will see more and more podcasts begin streaming their shows live on the internet. Allowing viewer participation is improving the quality of video content tremendously. Robert Scoble loves to use viewer questions during an interview. . .and you can tell it improves the content.

So this is my blog. This will be the place I go to write up random thoughts about random things. Most of it will deal with the internet or technology. . .since I am a geek. Just don't expect anything too exciting. . .
You forgot the most important active Digg user of them all!
