Can you believe lolcats has spawned a full-fledged startup? They’re working with like 8-9 employees!

I was listening to BOL(buzz out loud), which is a podcast. I believe it was Tom Merritt that said this when he was at SXSW. He met and partied with the entire(or majority) of the ICanHasCheezburger.com staff.

It amazes me at what can become profitable on the internet. It wasn’t until this year that I became aware of this potential with my own website.

I wonder what the next meme will be that spawns an entire startup. Keep your eyes open. . .it won’t take too long.
