I just wanted to let everyone know of a new project I have been working on.

One of the things I have always enjoyed learning about is SEO and optimizing the ‘real estate’ of a website to best suit the reader. I have been working on a website for a few months now and figured it would be good to get another perspective on the whole design.

You might know Darren Rowse from ProBlogger.net or Digitial-Photography-School.com. I have been reading ProBlogger for a little over a year now and thought he would be the person to ask for a critique. So I sent him an email prefaced with ‘im sure you don’t have the time. . .’. Then a day or two later got he inevitable response ‘thanks, i just don’t have the time. . .’. Remember, I’m Psychic :p.

If it’s one thing I have learned from successful new websites. The more useful ones are there to fill a void. When I started InstallerApps.com I did it because I wanted a website I could go to and see all the applications and themes without having to install each one to see which ones were cool. At the time I searched Google(for at least a week) and couldn’t find a website that did this.

When I got that reply back from Darren, even though I wasn’t surprised he didn’t have the time, I was sort of let down. Which could be why I launched the website with a critique of his two websites. . .take that Darren! :p

It got me thinking, I couldn’t be the only blogger that would like to have their blog critiqued. Not bashed, laughed at, or made fun of. But actually given constructive criticism.

So the website is
www.BlogCriticizer.com

and I also got
www.BlogCriticiser.com

since it can be spelled both ways(depending on the region).

And please, if you or anyone you know would like their blog critiqued, just send me an email. I would like to keep it ‘requests only’. So depending on how well the website does. . .I might need to go and find blogs to critique. Though I did send out a message on Twitter as well as Pownce, and got enough requests for a month’s worth of content(which was awesome, thanks everyone!).
