I have to say you’ll need a 2nd computer, so you can look up errors in google when the linux box breaks. It’s always a driver thing. . .but normally there is a fairly easy fix. As long as you can follow step by step instructions you’re set.

I dunno. It's easy to research the answer to 95% of the issues Linux has. . .but why put yourself through that much work. Linux is a great OS, but I think it's really better suited as a "fun" OS, playing with settings and using the shell, rather than being a practical one. I’ve had the exact same problem before.
