Maybe it’s the new 1080p TV. . .maybe it shows what next-gen consoles can do. . .whatever the case they really got it right with GTA IV.
Now what I’m talking about specifically is when you’re driving fast and the surroundings start to blur. It’s the feeling you get when you’re riding a roller coaster. There was even one point where I was going really fast and then I went down a steep hill. It gave me the same feelings that I got when you go down that first hill in a roller coaster.
It really shows you how far immersion in video games has come over the years. Now I haven’t played a GTA since part 3. . .and games look a LOT better now than they used to. I also haven’t played that many ‘next-gen’ games. So I don’t know if this ‘feature’ was a progression over the past couple years or if this was something brand new that GTA brought to the table.
Whatever the case, I have to say good job Rockstar. I am have just under 50% of the game completed and it is awesome.
