Less Time For Digg
Lately I have been sort of rearranging my priorities online. I don’t know if this is temporary or if this is how it will be from here on. Even though I quit my other job and have a little extra time, I have been trying to enjoy it rather than burning myself out. I have to admit, it’s been a great 2 weeks.
One of the things that I have stopped doing is digging my friends’ submissions. I went about 3-4 days without even submitting anything, but after a while I started submitting a little here and there.
This isn’t anything against my friends, and I don’t blame anyone for unfriending me because of this. Since the ‘ban of scripts’ on Digg.com the process of going through my friends’ submissions it’s just become such a hassle. It was bad enough when Digg removed the ‘digg it’ buttons from the pages. . .but preventing us from doing it via scripts is just too much.
Again, I’m sorry. . .but I do thank anyone who continues to digg my stuff.
Thankfully because of this extra time, I am able to post more here, and focus more on other projects.

I agree submitting to Digg takes entirely too much time. Unless I’m just passionate about a news story I’m not going to bother. I’ll continue to Digg stories already submitted.

@Ganja, I know exactly what you’re saying. I’ve spent almost 3 years submitting to Digg. . .and it does take a lot of time
