Even though this word has been around for a long time I have been hearing it a LOT more this year. The reason is because people across the internet are starting to see how profitable a community within a niche can be. I know using the word ‘profit’ can leave a bad taste in people’s mouths when it comes to ‘blogs’ but without profit this just wouldn’t be possible.

From Smurfs to Board Games. More and more people are starting to see that these niches are a goldmine for passionate entrepreneurs.

People across the world are able to make a living off of these niches. It’s the community behind the niche that is making it possible to do this. If someone is a lifelong fan Smurfs and they find that ‘Smurf Forum’ or ‘Smurf Blog’ that provides this person with hours of content. . .then this person going to be happy to support the efforts. Whether it’s with donations, purchasing affiliate products, or even just word-of-mouth. . .they are not only will to do this, but they are happy to. They know that in doing so it will support the efforts to bring them more content.

It’s this passion and willingness that drives this industry. . .and it’s the internet that is going to help this industry of niches to grow into one of the most resourceful things around.
