I’m not a fan of change. I like to get in a routine and ride it out. I always said that I would be a great postal worker because I wouldn’t mind the daily repetition. Too bad that’s a government job and that they drug test.

I wasn’t too happy when the admin control panel of Wordpress changed in what 2.3/2.4(I forget the version #). But over time I got used to the new layout and new color scheme. Yet again the developers behind Wordpress are changing the layout and again I don’t like it.

I know I’ll get used to it. . .but for the first 2-3 weeks, every time I go into the backend of Wordpress I will be looking around the screen for 30 seconds trying to find what I’m looking for.

Plus I also have production sites that bring in an actual income for me now, and I risk the newer updates breaking my plugins(regular and custom plugins) or my themes. I wish there was a feature that I could revert back to previous versions(base software and plugins) when an update breaks it. Instead I have to go in and make backups of the database(which isn’t bad) as well as the physical files(this part takes hours).
